Zanchetta played a concert by Bach, Brandenburg concerto No. 2, on 2nd October 2007 in Hong Kong City Hall with Allen Vizzutti, trumpet, Matthew Wu, flute, Leanne Nicholls, oboe, and Jean Thorel was invited as a conductor.
ASIA, July 2007
Zanchetta moved from Italy to Asia with his family at the beginning 2007 and the first concert he gave in Hong Kong was with the City Chamber Orchestra (CCOHK) in the Cultural Centre located in Tsim Sha Tsui. Andrea was invited for a concert in Chengdu, China, celebrating Hong Kong handed over to China 10th year anniversary.
TOUR in JAPAN, July 2006
Zanchetta was back from a two weeks tour in Japan and he enjoyed very much the time there. He described that the response of the audience was extremely enthusiastic and it's exactly the sign of classical music in nowadays Asia. Zanchetta played pieces by Vivaldi and Paganini and in the same concert there were also Yumi Yamagata and Katsuya Watanabe. In many occaions, the orchestra was filmed by the local television during rehearsals, concerts as well as parties. The tour touched Tokyo where the orchestra performed in the warm Kioi Hall, the grand Suntory Hall as well as the Hamarikyu Asahi Hall; in Niigata at the Performing Arts Center; in Yokohama at the popular Touinn-Gauken University; and in other cities like Nasunohara, Nosuro city, Sendai, Oita, Ube-city, etc.
